Reignite the love
2025 was a year filled with lots of challenges. I was preoccupied with so many events happening in my life that fashion took a back seat in my life.
Now that we are in 2026, I feel like it’s time to get back into fashion and rediscover my love for it.
So I want to challenge myself by dressing up more often.
So join me as I reignite my love for fashion!
Fashion challenge
I was inspired by Net-A-Porter’s Youtube channel. They have a segment where they challenge individuals to style outfits based on different occasions.
I wanted to see how I would do with a similar challenge, so I made a list of scenarios and randomly chose my options.
1st challenge: What do you wear for dinner with friends?
For this look, I wanted to experiment with patterns. I chose white pants that have an abstract black floral print and paired it with a simple black tank top and a lace cardigan. For jewelry. I chose a gold necklace and matching earrings. And of course some black heels. With this look I can enjoy a night out while still being comfortable and stylish.

2nd challenge: What do you wear to a museum?
Whenever I go to a museum I find so much inspiration, and I wanted my outfit to reflect that. I went with a black maxi dress and a brown leather vest. I added a brown patterned headscarf. To add some color into my look, I accessorized with a green knitted bag, silver rings and pearl earrings. The rings have intricate designs much like art. Where you have to look closely to see its beauty. To finish the look I went with black boots. This is honestly one of my favorite looks: simple, yet full of fun pieces to work with.

3rd challenge: What do you wear for date night?
I seem to have a theme going on where most of these outfits are in black. So why not keep that going. For this look I went with a black mermaid-style cowl dress and a faux leather trench coat. This is one of my favorite black dresses because of the fit and the fabric. It has a classic look that I love. For jewelry I kept it simple with a diamond necklace and earrings.

4th challenge: What do you wear that will “pack a punch”?
This look was incredibly fun to put together because it was outside of my comfort zone. I wanted to play around with different shades of brown, so I went with this light orange-brown bottom down top. I paired this with a skirt with different shades of brown and orange. The skirt also has circular patterns, which adds a sense of playfulness. I kept the same energy with the accessories. For the shoes I went with some gold open-toed heels, dangly gold earrings, gold rings and a simple gold chain. When coming up with this look it was nice to imagine the different places.

Creating looks for these different scenarios was exciting. It brought back the joy of creating for me. If you find yourself uninspired, I would highly recommend trying this challenge.
Try it and let me know how it goes, and if you have any scenarios you would like me to style, please share them below.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.
Take care!!
